Merry Feng, ACMHC

Therapist

I draw from a person-centered approach to therapy, providing a judgement free space that focuses on harm reduction. Anyone might run into new life developments that can be difficult to navigate, and I am here to support those who need guidance through stressful times. I have experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders and neurodivergent backgrounds. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, and I speak conversational Mandarin Chinese.

I am trained in Motivational Interviewing (MI), with a specialization in supporting people who want to change their substance use, however that may look like. I also can help anyone strategize and implement any change they want to make in their life. Other modalities I use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Utah, and I received my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College in Massachusetts. During my time in Boston, I worked as a wellness provider for students at Berklee College of Music, providing short-term, solution focused strategies. I also provided education about alcohol and other drugs to students through programming and outreach.
